Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Brad Whitworth
Pastor Brad Whitworth, Senior Pastor
Pastor Brad has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture and delivering them in readily understandable ways. He has served at Big Lake Baptist Church for four years and is the first full-time pastor the church has had. He and his wife Sue (31 years) have three children and 6 grandchildren.

Pastor Doug Janneck
Pastor Doug Janneck, Youth Pastor
Pastor Doug’s main responsibility is leading and teaching the youth, however he ministers in all aspects of the churches mission. Pastor Doug and his wife Rachel have two children and have served here at BLBC since Mar 2011. He has a passion for our Youth and seeks to connect them with God’s plan for their lives.

Rachel Dault, Administrative Assistant
Rachel is central to all administrative activities of the church. She and her husband Justin have two beautiful children. She is probably the first person you’ll speak with, should you call our church. As the front door to so many aspects of our churches ministry she maintains the church calendar, communication flow with staff and lay leaders, as well as developing print and electronic information.
